Glucoamylase Powder is a powder Glucoamylase enzyme (Amyloglucosidase, Glucan 1,4-α-glucosidase)[EC3.2.1.3] derived from refined Aspergillus Niger strain through cultivation and submerged fermentation technique.
This product can be used in the industry of distillery, fuel ethanol, beer brewing, organic acid, sugar and many other saccharification industry processes.

DEFINITION OF UNIT
1 unit of Glucoamylase Powder equals to the amount of enzyme which hydrolyzes soluble starch to get 1mg glucose at 40°C and pH4.6 in 1h.
FUNCTION CONDITIONS
pH 3.0-5.5, optimum 4.0-4.5; Temperature favorable at 58-60°C.
FUNCTION PRINCIPLE
It rapidly hydrolyzes terminal 1,4 α-D-glucose bonds and slowly hydrolyzes 1,6 α-D-glucose bonds successively from non-reducing ends of the starch chains with the release of β-D-glucose.
DOSAGE RECOMMENDATION
0.8-1.2kg of Glucoamylase Powder (150,000u/g) per ton of starch or related material.
EXPIRATION
25°C, 12 months, activity remains 90%.
